Halloween Foursquare Badges

Halloween weekend kicks off tonight and foursquare is already in the swing of things with a new set of Halloween badges.  The 2011 edition of digital merit badge awesomeness is very similar to the 2010 Halloween set.  Starting at 8pm on Friday, October 28th you will be awarded the 2011 Halloween badge when you add the word ‘Halloween’ to any check-in.  To earn the ‘spooky swarm’ badge you will need to be checked in a venue at half the regular swarm level or higher (25 simultaneous check-ins).

Users who unlock the ‘Halloween 2011′ badge will see the following message:

Happy Halloween from foursquare! Be sure to avoid graveyards, houses giving away fruit, and anyone who’s trying to #occupy your candy bucket.

Users who unlock the ’2011 Spooky Swarm’ badge will see the following message:

Your band of monsters is strong. Zombies to your left, vampires to your right, and that guy in the corner who keeps yelling “#Winning.” Just be careful on your way out… you don’t want to run into that slutty Chilean Miner.

There are plenty of parties all weekend long around Atlanta.  Where will you unlock the Halloween ‘bat spooky swarm’ badge?
