(RED) Rush to Zero Badge and Donation Campaign

(RED) is an organization striving to eliminate HIV/AIDS from the planet during our generation and is hoping to rid the disease from new generations by 2015. In 2010, (RED) launched a one day only foursquare badge on Dec 1st to bring awareness to World AIDS Day. They are launching a new RED Rush campaign which will run from June 1st through the 10th. It is a fundraising blitz giving people 10 different ways to participate during that 10 day window. One of those extensions is a foursquare campaign in partnership with Starbucks, Bugaboo retailers, and Bonefish Grill. Every check-in at one of those retailers will result in $1 being donated to the effort. If you follow (RED) on foursquare, your check-in will also earn you the (RED) Rush badge and you will see this unlock text:

Your check-in just triggered a $1 donation to fight AIDS. 1,000 babies are born with HIV every day. By 2015 we believe that can be close to zero. Keep checking-in at (RED) partners & retailers during (RED)RUSH through June 10. Learn more at redrush.com

Please show your support for this wonderful cause by participating in the 10 different ways to donate and be sure to visit these retailers to increase the donations. After that visit, you can show off your new (RED) Rush badge with pride knowing you helped make a difference. You can keep track of the total check-in donation amount on the (RED) website.
